What we store on your device, and why.
This page describes exactly what bridgecoffeeroasters.com stores on your device today — not a generic boilerplate list.
Essential (always active)
None of the following is a cookie in the technical sense — they're stored in your browser's localStorage and don't travel with every request to the server:
bridge-cookie-consent— your choice (accept/reject) on the cookie banner, so we don't ask you again on every page.bridge-visitor-id— a random identifier your own browser generates the first time. It isn't your IP, isn't derived from any of your details, and doesn't identify you by name; it only exists to link the consent record (below) to one device.bridge-a11y-prefs— the accessibility preferences you choose (font size, contrast, reduced motion). These stay exclusively on your device.
Recording consent
GDPR requires us to be able to prove that you gave consent. That's why, the moment you click "Accept all" or "Reject", we send a record to our server with: the random bridge-visitor-id, your two choices (analytics / advertising), your browser's user-agent, and the time. Nothing else — not your IP, not which pages you viewed.

Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't store a persistent visitor identifier — which is why it doesn't need your consent from the banner.
Advertising
We don't currently load any advertising or third-party tracking cookie. If one is added in the future, it will only activate after you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner — never before.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it: the button below resets it to "reject all" — no analytics or advertising category stays active.
If you want to see the banner again from the start and choose again, delete this browser's site data for bridgecoffeeroasters.com.
